Ready, Steady, Bake! Beachborough Bake Off at Bloxham School
Children from Beachborough School took part in a ‘Great British Bake Off’ workshop on Saturday, hosted by Bloxham School’s Food Technology department.Following a format similar to the hit BBC television show, the young bakers were challenged to produce show stopping cupcakes, using their technical skills and creative flair.Old Bloxhamist, Julia Nash, who is a Director of Nash’s Bakery Ltd., returned to Bloxham School to judge the competition. She said: “It has been a real pleasure coming back to my old school. There are some fantastic facilities here, and it’s wonderful to see the children so enthusiastic. We definitely have a few bakers in the making!”Star Baker prizes were received by Holly Brigden and Pippa How, who each went home with the latest Great British Bake Off recipe book, and a few cupcakes!
